In case you didn’t know, July 23 is a momentous day for Ubar Grotto – we are exactly one year old! The Officers of Ubar Grotto want to take a moment and thank each of you for your dedication and support. It’s thanks to you that our organization has continued to grow and prosper. WE can only dream of what the next year will hold for us!
Speaking of the next year, we wanted to give you some event updates. Unfortunately, due to low reservations, we are going to have to cancel the summer picnic, scheduled for August 18, 2012. We’re talking about having a small get together that evening at a local establishment, but nothing is firm yet.
On Sunday, August 12, 2012, the ladies of HARD will have their next bout. The doors will open at 5:30 PM with the bout at 6:00. Tickets are $10 for Ubar members.
On Friday, July 24, 2012, St. John’s Lodge No. 260 (located in Carlisle) will be holding a Masonic open house. We have been invited to set up and man a table from 6 PM to 8 PM that evening. This is another great opportunity to show off what we’re doing, so come out and meet some of the men in black (fezzes that is!)
