Each year (well, sort of each year) the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania hosts an event at the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown known as Autumn Day. This event is a celebration of the fraternity and acts as a kick off to the time when Lodges and other Masonic groups resume meeting. Several thousand people attend this event, providing a great place to meet Brothers you have never met before and to get reacquainted with old friends. It also provides a venue for Masonic groups to advertise themselves and look for new members.
With this in mind, Ubar Grotto has a secured a table at Autumn Day 2011. We will be located in the Village Green area of the Masonic Village, right next to Zembo Shrine. The Grotto is working hard to prepare a quality display along with designing items to give out. Oh, and don’t forget about the new Ubar shirts, which will also make their debut!
So, if you’re coming to Autumn Day 2011, don’t forget to stop by the Ubar booth and say hello! We’ll have lots of information on Ubar and it is rumored that the Ubaritar is even going to make an appearance. You won’t want to miss it!
