Ubar Grotto is creating quite the buzz here in Central Pennsylvania. In only three days Ubar will enter the Realm as the newest Grotto bringing with it members from five central Pennsylvania Counties, representing 16 different Masonic Lodges. These members range in age from 19 to their 70’s. The support of the Craft for this new organization has been overwhelming. This just goes to show how much Masonry in Central Pennsylvania was in need of an organization for men who are Master Masons to come together in a social manner and enjoy each others’ company.
Beginning on Friday we will welcome several Supreme Council Officers to Central Pennsylvania, including Pro. Aquinas “Moe” Evans, Grand Monarch, Pro. Otto Thiergart, Grand Chief Justice, and Pro. David Blythe, Grand Venerable Prophet. We are also pleased to be entertaining members from Grottos in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and Philadelphia. It is certainly going to be a weekend to remember!
