Time for a quick Ubar update as we are now less than one month from our Constitution Ceremony. Your Officers are working hard on pulling together the final pieces of the puzzle (and having fun doing it!)
The Officer jewels have been ordered and we have been told that they were / are going to be shipped before the Grotto Supreme Council Session this week in Dearborne, MI. Hopefully, we’ll have them in hand by the end of the week!
The Officers / extra fezzes have also been completed, along with the titles to go on the front of them. We’ve been told by the Fezmonger that those items should be shipping this week as well. It’ll be a big week for the Grotto, that’s for sure!
Lastly, we have made one more purchase. As any Masonic body isn’t complete without a sword, the Monarch authorized the Chief Justice and the Master of Ceremonies to purchase a scimitar to be wielded by the Sentinel. This “Ubaritar” will be the official sword of the Grotto and will be displayed whenever possible.
